Directions to Helping Up Mission

We are located just blocks from the Baltimore Inner Harbor. For directions from your location, please click one of the following links:

North of Baltimore City
(Timonium, Towson, Lutherville Area, Hunt Valley, etc.)

South of Baltimore City
(Glen Burnie, Severna Park, Annapolis, etc.)

East of Baltimore City
(White Marsh, Perry Hall, Bel Air, Fallston, etc.)

West of Baltimore City
(Catonsville, Columbia, Ellicott City, etc.)

Directions to Martin’s West
(Site of the Annual Samaritans Circle Graduation Banquet)

 

North of Baltimore (N. Balt. Cnty. Area: Timonium, Towson, Lutherville Area, Hunt Valley)

83 ends at Fayette and turns into President Street

Go through intersection at Fayette and President (get in left lane immediately)

Turn left on to Baltimore Street

Stay on Baltimore Street to the Mission

- The Mission will be about ¼ mile up on the right side (if you pass Central….you have gone too far)

Be careful not to confuse us with Baltimore Rescue Mission, which is at the corner of Baltimore & Central

 

South of Baltimore (S. Balt. Cnty. & Anne Arundel Cnty. Area: G.Burnie, Severna Park, Annapolis, etc.)

Take 695 toward Towson to 95 North

Follow the directions from West of Baltimore

 

West of Baltimore (W. Balt. Cnty. & Howard Cnty. Area: Catonsville, Columbia, Ellicott City, etc.)

Make a right at 1st stoplight onto Conway (at Camden Yards)

Go to end and make left onto Light Street (get in far right lane immediately)

Take Light Street to Pratt Street and bear right (once on Pratt, get in one of left lanes immediately)

Take Pratt Street to President and make a left (get in right lane immediately)

Take President to Baltimore Street and make a right

Stay on Baltimore Street to the Mission

- The Mission will be about ¼ mile up on the right side (if you pass Central….you have gone too far)

Be careful not to confuse us with Baltimore Rescue Mission, which is at the corner of Baltimore & Central

 

East of Baltimore (E. Balt. Cnty. & Harf. Cnty Area: White Marsh, Perry Hall, Belair, Fallston, etc.)

95 South to the Eastern Avenue Exit

Bear right off the ramp onto Eastern Avenue (going west)

Stay on Eastern Avenue all the way to Linwood Avenue (about 4-5 miles)

- Linwood runs through the middle of Patterson Park

Make a right on Linwood Avenue to stoplight at Baltimore Street

Make a left on Baltimore Street

Stay on Baltimore Street all the way to the Mission

- HUM will be on the left side, about 1/8 mile past Central Ave, at the corner of Baltimore and Lloyd Street

-Be careful not to confuse us with Baltimore Rescue Mission, which is at the corner of Baltimore & Central

 

DIRECTIONS TO MARTIN'S WEST

Martin's West is located at 6817 Dogwood Road, in the Woodlawn area…just minutes from exit 17 off the Baltimore Beltway (I-695). Martin's West is easy to see from the Beltway…it is a huge white building with a big Chandelier in the window (next to a Holiday Inn).

From Baltimore Beltway Exit 17:
Travel west (outside the Beltway) toward Rolling Road. At the first traffic light, turn right at Belmont Ave (Exxon Station) and follow Belmont ½ mile. Martin's West will be on the left, facing the Beltway after you pass the Holiday Inn.


From Virginia/D.C.:
Take I-95 North to I-695 Beltway, Exit 49B (West - Towson) and travel to Exit 17 Security Blvd west. From there, follow the instruction from Exit 17.


From Pennsylvania:
Take I-83 South to the I-695 Beltway and travel West to Exit 17 Security Blvd.
From there, follow the instruction from Exit 17.


From Frederick, MD:
Take I-70 East to the very end and return to Martin's West on Security Blvd. Travel under the I-695 Beltway to Belmont Ave (Exxon) and turn right.
