Hope Tote Campaign

Give the Gift of Hope!

Operation Hope Tote:
Provides an opportunity for caring families, churches, schools and organizations to give tangible help to men struggling to overcome homelessness, chemical dependency and poverty in the Baltimore area. Hope Totes are small plastic bags filled with inexpensive items like soap, shampoo, toothpaste, underwear and socks. A bar of soap or a stick of deodorant can be all it takes to restore a sense of personal dignity and encourage men to take the next step in recovery.

Here’s What You’ll Receive:
We’ll send you a complete Operation Hope Tote kit, with as many Hope Totes as you think you can fill. We’ll include a "Hope Tote Wish List" to guide you in filling the totes, and a list of drop-points around Baltimore where you can deliver your filled totes. We encourage people to bring the totes directly to the Mission and take advantage of a tour.

When Does the Campaign Run?
Operation Hope Tote runs from January 1st through April 30th. Our goal is to obtain the product needed to serve 300+ men per night through the end of the year. However, we need donations throughout the year to replenish dwindling supplies.

For more information or to request a supply of Hope Tote Bags, please contact the Mission Development Office at (410)327-5296 or email Steve Hiss at shiss@helpingup.org
