Many of the
men in Helping Up Mission programs are extremely talented in the arts
(painting, drawing, poetry, and music). Some of the men have used
their talents professionally, while others use them solely as a means
of expressing their thoughts and feelings. This
section of the Mission website features artistic works, created
by the men in the Mission, that deal with the topics of addiction,
recovery and spiritual growth. In addition to providing an outlet
for men to showcase their talents, our hope is that you will be
inspired and moved with compassion for the homeless, chemically
dependent and hurting people who walk the streets of Baltimore each
